Kids Ministries

    Our Kids ministries are exciting and growing with an average of 15-20 kids involved each week!  There is a great excitement level among our kids who attend each week, either on Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings, or both!  We have qualified teachers and leaders who care about seeing kids develop their relationship with God!  Our Child Protection Policy was implemented a few years ago for all of our nursery, kids, and teen ministries throughout our church.  All of our teachers, leaders, helpers, staff, nursery workers, etc... have gone though a background check process, etc...  We have implemented other safeguards to help keep your kids safe.  E-mail us at leclairebaptist@leclairebaptist.org for more information or questions.

All of our kids promote to their next class/grade level on June 1 of each year.  Over the summer, they are in the class corresponding to the grade they will be going into in the fall.  Email or call the church if you have any questions.  All ushers, teachers and leaders will help get your child/ren to their proper area.

Sundays

Sunday School classes - 9:30-10:20am

     Our Sunday kids ministries include classes for each age group.  Classes meet from 9:30 to 10:20 am and are available for kids age 2 through 6th grade, all divided according to age.  There are Adult Bible Fellowship opportunities available at this time as well for parents.  Take a look at the classes below to see which age group your child(ren) falls into.

Children's Church program - 11:00-11:30am

(for kids age 3 through those currently in 3rd grade or entering 3rd grade in the fall)

     Our Children's Church ministry is provided for these kids during part of our morning worship service.  Our kids are dismissed AFTER the praise & worship part of our service and led to their downstairs classroom by an usher for this program!  Parents, a reminder that our nursery (newborns up through kids age 2) is also available during this service!

Wednesdays:  Kidz Klub Ministry - 7:00-8:00 pm

     Our year round Wednesday night "Kidz Klub" (for kids age 4 through 6th grade) provides opportunities for kids including exciting music and practical lessons which help our kids learn more about God and making good decisions.  There are 3 different classes divided up by ages.  All kids meet downstairs in the kids area at 7:00 for the music time of Kidz Klub.  At approximately 7:20, they are dismissed into their individual classes for their lesson, discussions, verses, and sometimes recreation times.  (Kidz Klub meets year round except during the week of Thanksgiving and the 2 weeks during Christmas & New Year's.  Check the calendar link for updated dates.)
